The Faculty of Arts and Sciences aims to sustain the efforts of our University to be among the preeminent public universities of the nation and strives constantly to sustain and enhance its quality in teaching, research and public service. In all that our University does, we aim high, attempting to provide valuable and necessary knowledge and skills and, apart from formal education and research, cultivate in our students and staff the sense of responsibility for actions, control over destiny, exercise of efficient guidance, treatment of each other with dignity and respect, and promotion of citizenship and national values while successfully answering to the requirements of globalization.
